“Now thin mists temper the slow – ripening beams,
Of the September sun..”
~ ‘The Garden In September’; Robert Bridges

Beautiful mists softened the morning light this September, creating a quiet, magical blanket hovering over the surrounding fields, hedgerows and woodland. Then there are the bewitching webs, with their diamond – like droplets of the morning dew.

All seems to have slowed down naturally, not asking anybody’s permission, making an entrance without a need for invitations. With all the hush and lull calming down now bit by bit with every morning, it’s definitely shifting.
